Do you show user-reported crimes?
No. We only show crimes that have been officially reported to the police. This means you're getting:
- An accurat overview of your area
- No malicious or duplicate entries
How does the phone call feature work?
For when you're in a situation you want to get out of quickly and discretely. Here's how it works:
- You tap the help button and put your phone down
- We start tracking your location
- We create a conference call with up to three of your friends (they must have CrimeSiren installed but it can be the free version) and let them see your live location on a map, as well as nearby police stations.
- You get added to the conference call - your phone will ring with a real phone call, not just an in-app call
Remember: to the person you're trying to get away from this just looks like you've gotten a phone call. It's a good way to exit a situation without arousing suspicion.
Can I add multiple addresses?
Free users can have a single address only, but premium users can add up to three addresses. This means you can keep track of crimes near loved ones, holiday homes or even schools.
