1. Services Provided
CrimeSiren offers tools to view and follow nearby crimes, receive updates, and assess theft risks based on car registration details. These services are intended for informational purposes only and should not replace professional advice or law enforcement updates.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use our services. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
3. Accounts and Security
• To access certain features, you must create an account using a valid email address and a secure password.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. Notify us immediately of unauthorized account access.
• By creating an account, you agree to our Privacy Policy.
4. Data Collection and Usage
We collect data such as postcodes, email addresses, and car registration details for the purpose of:
• Displaying nearby crimes.
• Sending updates and notifications.
• Performing theft risk assessments.
All data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We use Firebase for authentication and data storage, and payments are processed via app stores.
5. User Conduct
You agree to:
• Use the App only for lawful purposes.
• Not attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or disrupt the App or Site.
• Not upload false, misleading, or inappropriate content.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms.
6. Payments and Subscriptions
Certain features may require a subscription or in-app purchase. These transactions are processed through the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. By completing a purchase, you agree to their respective terms of service.
7. Accuracy and Disclaimer of Liability
CrimeSiren provides crime data for informational and entertainment purposes only. The information displayed in the App may not be accurate, complete, or up-to-date. We do not guarantee that the App will warn you about all crimes near your location or protect you from theft, damage, or other incidents.
• No Guarantee of Accuracy: Crime reports, crime-related alerts, or assessments provided are based on third-party sources and data, which may contain inaccuracies or omissions. We are not liable for errors or missing information.
• No Liability for Failures: We bear no responsibility for any harm, loss, or damage, including theft or property damage, resulting from reliance on the App or its failure to warn you about a crime.
• Use at Your Own Risk: Your use of the App is at your own risk. CrimeSiren is not a substitute for professional advice, security measures, or official law enforcement alerts.
• Exclusion of Responsibility: Lantern 6 Studios LTD disclaims all liability for any loss or damage, direct or indirect, arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, theft, or financial loss.
By using the App, you acknowledge and agree that we are not responsible for any outcomes or incidents related to the information provided.
8. Limitation of Liability
• Our liability for damages is limited to the amount you paid for the service, where applicable.
• We are not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App or Site.
9. Intellectual Property
All content in the App and on the Site, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Lantern 6 Studios LTD or its licensors. Unauthorized use is prohibited.

CrimeSiren may use third-party analytics tools like Google Analytics and Facebook Pixel. Your use of these tools is subject to their respective privacy and terms policies.
